COBOURG – A 53-year-old Fenwick man was charged with impaired driving in Cobourg early Wednesday morning.

Police say restaurant staff at the Boston Pizza in Cobourg called them shortly after an intoxicated guest left the restaurant and got into his car. The man was stopped by police on Division Street and taken to the station.

He provided two breath samples and was charged with impaired driving.
