Sandra Carter

Sandra Carter has represented Quinte West as a councillor for two terms. She was also chair of the Quinte West Finance Committee, as well as a member of the Health Unit board. Carter was born and raised in Trenton. Carter is a local business woman and manages two marinas in Quinte West, as well as one in Picton. As a mayoral candidate, Carter says her hope is to see Quinte West continue to move forward. She says she wants to see the city grow and economically develop, while still being careful with tax dollars. She wants to see more businesses brought in to build a larger economic base. Carter says she wants to see Loyalist College graduates stay in the area. She is 67 years old.
