Students are not voting

BELLEVILLE – Many students at Loyalist College Monday morning said they had no idea it was election day.

An informal survey by QNet News failed to find a single student who had voted in the municipal election, or was planning to.

Students said they don’t have the time because of midterms, and that they weren’t provided with the proper information or educated about the steps to vote if they do not come from the surrounding area.
