Sears rides across country for kids cancer

BELLEVILLE – The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride stopped in Belleville at the Sears Distribution Centre on Monday.

During their short rest, employees from the distribution centre presented a cheque of a more than $14,000 to the riders. 100 percent of the money will go to funding research and support centres for children battling cancer and their families.

The ride started on Sept. 10 in Vancouver and will end on the 26th in Halifax.
