Local Remembrance Day ceremonies

BELLEVILLE – Here’s a list of Remembrance Day ceremonies happening in the greater Quinte area on Friday.

Belleville

  • Loyalist College will hold its Remembrance Day ceremony in Alumni Hall at 10:50 a.m.
  • A parade starts at the Belleville Armouries at 10:30 a.m., followed by a ceremony at the Cenotaph at 11 a.m.

Trenton

  • A candlelight vigil will take place at the Trenton Legion from 5 p.m. Thursday to 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
  • A ceremony will take place at the Cenotaph at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch at the legion.

Napanee

  • A ceremony will take palace at the Napanee Court House at 10:30 a.m.
  • A blood drive will take place at the Strathcona Paper Centre from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Hastings

  • A ceremony will be held at the Hastings Royal Canadian Legion at 11:00 a.m.

Frankford

  • The Frankford Legion will hold a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Frankford cenotaph.

Brighton

  • The Brighton Royal Canadian Legion is hosting a candlelight vigil on Nov. 10. Participants can meet at the legion at 6 p.m. and walk to the cenotaph at 7 p.m.
  • There will be a ceremony at the Legion at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11. The legion will also hold a dinner at the Legion at 6:30 p.m.
