BELLEVILLE – Campus and community are coming together Thursday for the United Way Truckload Sale.

Staff and students from Loyalist were able to order everyday products at a discounted price, with proceeds going to support the United Way.

Products were purchased for a fraction of the price that they sell for at stores.

Students from the public relations program at Loyalist College are in charge of the sale.

“It’s a great opportunity for the college to get involved with the community,” says PR student Benjamin Cowie.

The goal for this year’s sale is $8,000, and students say they are confident they will be able to reach it.

Order pickups will be going on in the Shark Tank Pub until 1 p.m. Thursday, and any leftover products will be available for purchase from 1 to 2 p.m.
