Quinte West man charged with drinking and driving

BELLEVILLE – a 23-year-old Quinte West man was charged with drinking and driving after being stopped by police Tuesday night.

The Quinte West OPP report that at about 10:30 p.m. they pulled over a vehicle on Dundas Street West in Trenton for a Highway Traffic Act violation. The officer determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol, according to the OPP press release.

The man was charged with driving with more than the legal amount of alcohol in his blood. He is scheduled to appear in court in Belleville on April 20.
