Protesters greet premier in Port Hope

PORT HOPE – Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne was met by dozens of school buses when she visited here Friday. There were protests by bus operators over changes to the contracting process, and also by parents of special-needs children over changes in program funding. In her speech to the annual general meeting of the Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce, Wynne addresses those concerns also touched base on job and economic growth across Ontario.
