Impaired driver charged after collision

BELLEVILLE – A 47-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving after police responded to a collision at the intersection of Bridge Street East and Farley Avenue on Monday.

After an investigation, police discovered that the man was under the influence of alcohol.

No injuries were reported, but there was some damage to both vehicles and city property.

The driver is scheduled to appear in court in December.
