Emergency rail crossing maintenance at Montrose Road in Belleville

QUINTE WEST – Montrose Road in Quinte West will be temporarily closed until Thursday, Sept. 28 due to emergency rail crossing maintenance.

The road will be closed until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, between Moira Street West and Old Highway 2.

According to the city of Quinte West, Canadian Pacific Railway will be repairing the road and detours are in place at the crossing area to direct traffic.
