New pay and display parking stations in downtown Picton

  • November 30, 2017 at 2:42 pm

By Cody Starr

BELLEVILLE – Prince Edward County has just installed 22 new pay and display parking stations in downtown Picton.

There are 16 new stations located on along Picton’s Main Street, six situated along Elizabeth Street, King Street, Walton Street and Ross Street.

The machines are up and running but the county will delay parking enforcement during the Feed the Meter campaign throughout December.

Feed the Meter is a fundraising campaign where all money from parking meters will go towards the Prince Edward and Hastings Learning Foundation to provide nutritional meals and snacks to local school children in need.

For more information contact the County of Prince Edward’s Customer Service Desk at,  613-476-2148 ext. 1023.
