  • December 14, 2017 at 11:10 am

By Joseph Carin

BELLEVLLE – Prince Edward County has set a weight restriction on Danforth Road from County Road 33 to Baitley Road until further notice.

The half-load restriction is needed to avoid damage to the road over the winter. Construction is set to resume in spring 2018 according to a release from Mark Kerr, the communications and media coordinator for Prince Edward County.

As well County Road 12 between County Road 18 and Lakeshore Lodge Road will remain closed for the winter to protect the gravel laid out with plans to finish construction set for spring.
