Stunt driver charged after passing ambulance in Madoc

BELLEVILLE – A 21-year-old Nepean man faces stunt-driving charges after he passed an ambulance with it emergency lights on early Monday morning.

Police clocked the man travelling at 153 kilometres per hour in an 80 kilometre zone while going ease on Highway 7 near Jarvis Lake Road in Madoc.

Police say that the man’s driver’s licence was suspended and his vehicle was impounded, both for a period of seven days.
