  • April 2, 2018 at 1:19 pm

By John Bronn

BELLEVILLE – Police had their hands full with one woman on three separate occasions on Sunday. Around 3 in the afternoon, police responded to a disturbance at an east end address. The paramedics on scene took the 21 year old woman to Belleville General hospital for treatment.

Police say once she was at the hospital, she caused another disturbance. Police were called, but before they could get there, she left the hospital. However, she left behind the spilled contents of her purse. Among the contents, police say they found a small quantity of cocaine. Around 10:00 p.m. Sunday, police responded to another disturbance at an apartment on Dundas, St. When they arrived they found the same woman as the previous two disturbances.  The woman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. She is due to appear in court on May 7.
