Doug Ford visiting Belleville Wednesday

  • April 16, 2018 at 12:43 pm

By Evan McClelland

BELLEVILLE – The new leader of the Progressive Conservative party in Ontario will be in Belleville Wednesday for a breakfast meet and greet.

He’ll be joined by local MPP Todd Smith.

Doug Ford successfully won the leadership race on March 10 after the previous leader, Patrick Brown, resigned after sexual harassment allegations.

Smith supported Ford’s competitor for the leadership, Christine Elliot.

The event takes place between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. at the Dugout on Dundas Street East.
