Belleville police host torch run to raise money for Special Olympics athletes

BELLEVILLE – Belleville’s Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics took place Tuesday morning.

Officers ran from the Quinte Mall to Market Square, travelling down North Front Street collecting donations from passing commuters.

Officers will be hosting a series of events over the coming weeks to raise money for Special Olympics athletes in the Quinte area. Their next event will be the Cops and Cowboys event at the Lone Star Bar and Grill on Bell Boulevard.
