BELLEVILLE – After being missing for almost three weeks, a stolen ATV has turned up.

A black Kawasaki side-by-side ATV was found in a soccer field in Hastings after the police said they received a call complaining about suspicious activity in that area.

The ATV went missing after someone broke into the garage of a house just off of 14th Line East, on Oct. 4. Besides the ATV,  two yellow and black portable generators, a small blue Mastercraft air compressor and a full five-gallon gas can.

There were three other break-ins in Hasting the same night that the robbery took place.

A power drill and chainsaw were stolen a Trent River Rod home and two chainsaws went missing from a Rylstone Road house.

The police are asking for assistance with the ongoing investigation.

Anyone who has information about any of the break-in can call the Peterborough/Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
