158th soldier killed in Afghanistan repatriated

The repatriation ceremony of Master Corporal Byron Greffs in Trenton on Nov. 1, 2011

TRENTON, Ont. (01/11/11) – Corporal Byron Greff, 28, was repatriated today, Nov. 1, 2011 at CFB Trenton at 5 p.m. sharp. Greff, a member of Edmonton-based 3rd Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, was killed by a suicide bomber near Kabul, Afghanistan. Greff was one of 17 people killed in the attack and is the 158th Canadian soldier to be killed in Afghanistan. Photo by Melissa Murray.
