By Ryan Peddigrew

BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police arrested a 21-year-old man last Saturday at the scene of a break-in on Bleecker Avenue.

Police say they responded to a call at about 7:30 p.m. about a man breaking into the garage.

The man they arrested is also linked to an earlier break-and-enter attempt on Ann Street, police said.

He has been charged with two counts of breaking and entering.

He was held for a bail hearing on Sunday.
