Brighton woman charged with impaired driving

BELLEVILLE – A 52-year-old Brighton woman faces impaired driving charges after police responded to a call in the Elgin and Division streets area of Cobourg Monday night.

Police arrived in the area and located the suspected driver. After providing two breath samples, she was charged with impaired driving and placed under arrest.

The suspect was released and will appear in court at a later date.
