Men of Movember: Ryan

Movember is starting to take charge in the TV new media program at Loyalist College.

Ryan Harding, a third year TV new media student is taking on the Movember challenge for the second year now. But this year is the first time he has raised money for the cause

“I figured last year I got a lot of attention from it and people asked me if I was raising money and my answer was always no so I figured this year I’d sign up and raise some money for a good cause,” Ryan said.

Ryan added that Movember isn’t all about raising money, it’s about raising awareness.

“Even if you’re not raising money it’s a good thing. Prostate cancer is kind of an awkward touchy subject, when you have a mustache it gets people talking and people talking about a touchy subject is a good thing especially one with this severity,” he said.
