Quinte West OPP report that motor vehicle collisions have increased this year. The study went from Jan 1st, 2010 – Nov 8th 2011 and 867 collisions were reported. Up from the previous 737collisions the year before.

Lawyers for the city of Vancouver in B.C. Supreme Court today asking for the injunction to remove occupy protestor’s tents from Vancouver Art Gallery. Due to escalating safety concerns after a women died in a tent over the weekend.

Government Sources say Finance Minister Jim Flaherty is planning to cut employment insurance premiums in half.
