Motor vehicle collisions are up in Quinte West

Quinte West OPP report that motor vehicle collisions have increased this year. The study went from Jan 1st, 2010 – Nov 8th 2011 and 867 collisions were reported. Up from the previous 737 collisions the year before.

With Remembrance Day coming .The Last Post Fund wants to get markers for the unknown soldiers graves in cemeteries across Canada.

Government Sources say Finance Minister Jim Flaherty is planning to cut employment insurance premiums in half.
