BELLEVILLE – A Quinte West OPP cruiser collided with another vehicle in Trenton Tuesday afternoon.

The accident took place about 12:15 p.m., according to a news release from the OPP. The marked cruiser was travelling on Front Street when it collided with a civilian vehicle.

There were no injuries, police say.

A constable who has been with the Quinte West OPP for one year has been charged with following too closely.
