The Canadian Mint has fund to help the Afghanistan Repatriation Memorials

A fund for the Afghanistan Repatriation Memorials will receive 11 dollars from every “highway of hero’s ” coin sold by the Canadian Mint. The fund has raised $700,000 so far.

Stocks in North America are falling sharply on increased concerns that Italy’s debt levels are unsustainable to a point that other countries cannot help.

Premier Dalton McGuinty says there’s no progress on moving a gas plant he promised to shut down during last month’s election.
