Impaired driving charges for elderly man in Hastings Highlands

BELLEVILLE – A 69-year-old Hastings Highlands man is facing charges for driving with a legal blood alcohol limit over 80. 

On February 21, 2020, around 7 p.m., officers from the Bancroft OPP received a report of a disturbance on Spilek Road, near Maynooth, in Hastings Highlands.

Officers arrived on the scene and arrested the driver. 

The man is facing charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and operating a motor vehicle while over the legal blood alcohol limit.

He will appear in Bancroft court on March 17.
