Stirling-Rawdon receives $8,000 for trail system upgrades

BELLEVILLE –  Stirling-Rawdon township has been awarded $8,000 from Trenval Tuesday afternoon, under a community economic development grant.

The grant will assist with upgrades to the trail system to make it more accessible for people of all ages and abilities.

Trenval is funded by the federal economic development agency for southern Ontario and is governed by a local volunteer board of directors.

The agency been assisting start-up and expanding businesses with information and counselling, community strategic planning, community economic development, and business financing in the Quinte Region since 1987.
