Injury to Trenton High School rugby player forces cancellation of game

The Bay of Quinte Tournament at Bayside Secondary School was cut short when Trenton Tiger Brian McCandie was injured during the second half of the senior championship game.McCandie went down two feet from the goal line. The officials called the game with about 15 minutes left. It was the last game of the day. The Centennial Chargers took the championship title with a score of 15-0.Centennial Secondary also claimed the junior tile earlier in the day over the Bayside Red Devils 12-10.
