Assault with a weapon

A Belleville man will be in court after a domestic assault Sunday.

Belleville Police investigated Sunday morning at around 9a.m. when a woman reported a man forced entry into her home and assaulted her with a weapon.

The 36-year-old man appeared in provincial court yesterday for a bail hearing.
