Sweet event held in Warkworth

The town of Warkworth held its 28th annual Maple Syrup Festival last Saturday.  People of all ages came to the bush to experience a little piece of Canadian winter. Despite many concerns from this year’s harsh winter about having enough maple syrup for the festival, syrup was in large supply at the taffy-tasting stall.
