Students join ranks of deer hunters

BELLEVILLE – Deer hunting season opens Monday in Southeastern Ontario.

An employee at Chesher’s, a local outdoors store, says they are swamped with hunters making last-minute preparations.

An automotive student at Loyalist College says his classes have been rescheduled to give students more free time during opening week.

QNet News is asking people how they feel about students missing class to go hunting.

More to come.
