Two men face charges after cars broken into

BELLEVILLE – Late Wednesday night on Village Drive, residents were woken by two men entering cars, Belleville Police reported Thursday morning.

When police arrived in the area, two young men were arrested and charged.

After further investigation by police, one of the men was discovered to be under a court order not to be away from his residence.

The men have been charged with breach of undertaking, theft and trespassing.

One of the youths was held for a bail hearing, while the second was released to his parents.
