Three people arrested in Belleville drug bust

BELLEVILLE – Belleville police charged three people with narcotics and weapons possession in a drug bust last week.

On Nov. 13,  police executed a search warrant in the east end of the city, with the help of the OPP.  They say they found marijuana, pills, stolen property, ammunition and variety of weapons, such as prohibited ASP batons, brass knuckles and spring loaded knives.

All three face several charges, including possession and production of marijuana, possession of controlled narcotics, proceeds of crime and prohibited devices.

The suspects  will appear in court next month.
