Young scientists show off their work

BELLEVILLE – This Saturday, Loyalist College will host the 56th annual Quinte Regional Science and Technology fair.

Elementary and secondary-school students from all over the Quinte region will come to show off their experiments and displays.

According to the Quinte Science and Tech website, the fair is a “platform for students to show off their academic achievements.” Multiple trips, cash and scholarships are up for grabs as prizes, including a $1,000 entrance scholarship to the University of Ottawa.

The fair starts at 9 a.m. in the Kente building. The awards presentation takes place in the automotive centre at 3:30 p.m.
