By Candice-Rose Gagnon

BELLEVILLE – The walls are going up on a Habitat for Humanity house in Belleville’s east end and Habitat is looking for hands to help.

Construction started this summer on the Golfdale Road house, which will be a future home to a local family. Habitat for Humanity is asking for teams of women to join for the fifth annual Women Build fundraiser, which started this week and will run another session Oct. 5 to 9.

QNet News will be speaking to the organizers of Habitat for Humanity to find out how students and residents can get involved and how the construction is looking thus far. Stay tuned.
