Public Safety Awareness Forum in Stirling

BELLEVILLE – The Stirling-Rawdon Police Service is hosting the Stirling-Rawdon Public Safety Awareness Forum on Oct. 6.

Hosted by the Stirling Public Library, the event will feature speakers from the Stirling-Rawdon Police and Children’s Mental Health Services of Hastings and Prince Edward counties, along with other addiction and child-focused services.

The purpose of the event is to discuss resources aimed at dealing with domestic violence, child abuse and addictions and mental-health issues within the community.

Starting at 7 p.m., the forum is free and open to the public.
