Tyendinaga Township hosts heritage event

TYENDINAGA – The Township of Tyendinaga is holding a heritage event at the Tyendinaga Township Public Library on this coming Monday.

The event will discuss the early days of the township, from the arrival of the first settlers to the building of road networks to the development of the school systems in the area.

Local historian Jim Kennelly will be hosting the event and presenting stories about the various historic points of the township.

QNet News will be attending the event, which starts at 7 p.m.. More to come.
