BELLEVILLE – Multiple areas along Lake Ontario are without power right now.

The Hydro One outage map, as of 3:30 p.m., shows many customers to the east, west and south of Belleville are experiencing outages:

The most significant is near Adolphustown, the yellow highlighted area on the map, where nearly 600 customers are in the dark.

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for an area stretching from Belleville to Cobourg. Wind gusts of up to 90 km/h are possible.

Veridian Connections reported that some in Belleville had lost power this morning due to “tree contact” but the electricity has since been restored.
