Man charged after incident with pellet gun

BELLEVILLE – A man was arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon after an incident with a pellet gun early Sunday morning.

Belleville Police say they responded to North Front Street at 3 a.m. where someone in a vehicle filled with passengers shot at two pedestrians.

The vehicle was later stopped by officers and a man was arrested.

No one was harmed in the incident.
