BELLEVILLE – The grand opening of the new Belleville Fire and Emergency Services headquarters took place on Tuesday.

Firefighters, council members and the public were invited to tour the new facility which was followed by a chili dinner.

Fire Chief Mark MacDonald, Mayor Taso Christopher and others made speeches to commemorate the occasion.

MacDonald said the new facility is a great asset to both employees and the community, as it brings everything together under one roof.
