BELLEVILLE – Two passengers in a car suffered minor injuries after a collision between a car and a Via rail passenger train.

It happened on the rail tracks at Moira Street West and Marshall Road on Sunday afternoon.

Police say the accident happened when a car, driven by a 19-year-old Belleville man, was crossing the track and was hit by an oncoming VIA train.
