The Golden Globes 2016: who was snubbed and who was well-deserved?
BELLEVILLE– The 2016 Golden Globes still have people talking.
“The Revenant” took home the top awards, with “The Martian” close behind. The night also had its share of bloopers and funny celebrity moments that left people talking.
Host Ricky Gervais delivered no shortage of controversial jokes about celebrities such as Caitlyn Jenner, Mel Gibson and Ben Affleck.
The night was also full of celebrities telling the teleprompter to wait, and to “shut up”, while they finished their acceptance speeches.
Jamie Foxx made the first Steve Harvey joke of the night announcing the wrong winner for Best Original Score for a Motion Picture and waving the envelope card saying, ““I’m sorry folks, I made a mistake. It’s right here on the card. I take full responsibility. It was right here on the card”, generating a room full of laughs.
And throughout all of the night, the fashion hits and misses were also a big conversation of the awards. Who was the best and worst dressed of the night? And, did you agree with the Hollywood Foreign Press on their winners?
