Quinte Blades skaters dominate over the weekend

BELLEVILLE – Members of the Quinte Blades  who are part of Ontario’s Special Olympics team won big this weekend in competitions.

Dianne Roebuck finished first in her four races in a meet in Milton on Saturday, Jan. 23.

Adam James and Kai Freeland both took first place in the 500 metres.

Nicole Ferguson also came in first place and left with a gold ribbon.

All four have earned spots on Ontario’s Special Olympics team that will be competing in the Canada Winter Games in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland from March 1-5, 2016.
