Woman caught driving 56 km/h over the speed limit

NAPANEE – A 51-year-old woman from Hamilton is to appear in provincial court in Napanee after being issued a summons for stunt driving Sunday morning.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. an officer with the Napanee OPP stopped a vehicle on County Road 41 north of Roblin.

The woman was travelling at 136 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.

As a result, the woman had her vehicle seized for seven days and was issued a seven day drivers licence suspension.
