Dancing for gender equality

  • March 9, 2016 at 2:22 pm

By Meaghan Bury

PICTON – In celebration of International Women’s Day, members of two Prince Edward County community groups,  Friendly Feminists and Food Not Bombs, organized a flash mob in Picton.

The flash-mob dancing took place in the downtown area Tuesday night.

Organizers wanted to draw attention to the issue of inequality between men and women. They said they hoped it could be the start of a conversation.
