Man in hospital following aggravated assault

BELLEVILLE – A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after an assault in Amherstview on Tuesday night.

Napanee OPP were called to a family dispute at a residence in Amherstview.

A 46-year-old man was transported to hospital with serious injuries. A 19 year-old female is in custody facing one charge of aggravated assault. She’s scheduled to appear in Napanee court on Wednesday.

The OPP are continuing the investigation.
