OPP investigating stolen van, long guns

BELLEVILLE – Police are asking for the public’s help in recovering items including a van and some guns that were stolen during a break-in the Eastern Ontario town of Embrun.

According to the Russell County OPP, around noon last Thursday someone broke into a home and stole a grey Dodge Caravan, several long guns two brown leather sofas and a snowblower.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Const. Tammy Barnes at the Embrun OPP detachment at 613-443-4499. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Embrun is about 45 kilometres southeast of Ottawa and about 250 kilometres east of Belleville.
