Public health urging smokers to quit

BELLEVILLE– Hastings & Prince Edward County Public Health is holding a contest called wouldurather.

It’s a contest to encourage young adults to quit, to cut their consumption in half, to not smoke while drinking or socializing or for those who do not smoke to continue not smoking.

Registration for the contest is open until Jan. 22 at midnight, and the winner is awarded is $5,000.
