Cash register taken during Lake Street break in

PICTON – A 54-year-old man from Picton is charged with a break-in a Lake Street business at 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday.

The man entered the store by forcing the door open and removing the cash register.

According to Prince Edward County OPP, he was identified with help from the public and was arrested on Tuesday night.

The 54-year-old will attend court for a bail hearing on Wednesday. He has been charged with break and enter and possession stolen property.
