BRIGHTON– A 27-year-old Trenton woman faces impaired driving charges after she lost control of her Honda Civic and hit a home in Brighton Saturday night.

Police say a white Honda Civic was heading northbound on County Road 26 in Brighton when it lost control on a bend in the road and struck a home on the east side of the road.

The woman was taken to the nearby hospital with non-threatening injuries.

An adult and two small children in the house were not injured by the accident.

Both the vehicle and the house are severely damaged.

The cost of the damages has not been released.

The woman charged is scheduled to appear in court in Cobourg on April 12.
